80s vintage red panda animal hand knit thick chunky winter long sleeved sweater

this is an adorable chunky knit sweater from the 80s featuring a knitted front design of a panda with black beaded eyes holding bamboo. the sweater has a red body (the red is a bit darker in person than pictured in photos), long sleeves and a crewneck neckline. the neck, cuffs and bottom hem are ribbed with a double black piping. very thick and slightly scratchy material with pullover closure. this sweater is tagged as womens size large, but could also fit size medium or more oversized on a small. it is great vintage condition, besides tiny staining on the panda’s face and minor pulls and pilling throughout. I should also note that the neck opening is quite tight with little stretch (but it should go over your head with a little tug). measurements (lying flat): bust (armpit to armpit): 20.5” across (41” when doubled) shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 21.5” sleeve length (measured from shoulder seam): 19” sleeve opening: 4” neck opening (with little stretch): 6” armpit to bottom hem: 15” centre front length: 22” centre back length: 25” bottom hem opening: 16” condition: great vintage condition, besides tiny staining on the panda’s face and minor pulls and pilling throughout.
