80s vintage red pleated retro clown cropped peplum button up blouse blazer

this is a charming "made in u.s.a." cropped blazer blouse from the 80s featuring a bright red body with three adorable oversized black and white striped buttons – it’s so unique and quirky, and giving academic clowncore vibes! the button up blouse has a high neckline, long sleeves, light shoulder pads (that can removed at your discretion), a pocket at the chest, and fun pleating all around the cropped bottom hemline. it is tailored with fitted peplum waist, and the fabric is untagged, but feels like it could be an unlined rayon blend. tagged as size 8 and I would say this best fits womens size small or medium. in great vintage condition with light stain on sleeve (barely noticeable), some loose buttons and threads, and light pilling. measurements (lying flat): shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 15" bust (pit to pit): 16.5” waist (measured at the seam above the pleating details): 15” sleeve length (from shoulder seam): 23” centre back length: 22.5”
