80s vintage white rainbow embellished cotton shirt pants matching two piece set

this is a super fun and comfy two piece matching lounge set by RISKY# from the late 80s or early 90s featuring a statement embroidery on the front evoking flowers with rainbow gemstones and gold studs – I love that you can wear the pieces together or apart! the shirt features a wide crew neckline, roomy half sleeves, and a loose and boxy fit. the matching pants are high waisted and have a stretchy elastic waistband (they are pull-on style, no closure) and they have a tapered slim leg, with no pockets. the fabric of the set feels like a pure cotton or cotton blend that is slightly sheer/see through, and unlined. such a great set that would be perfect to wear at the beach on vacation, going for brunch in the city, or just for lounging around retro-style! size is untagged but I would say this best fits womens size medium for an oversized fit, or size large (elastic waistband measures 11” across but has plenty of stretch). in good vintage condition with minor staining and light discoloration throughout (looks like it may be from the hanger that the garment was previously on, could potentially be removed with laundering). measurements (lying flat): shirt~ shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 23” across bust (pit to pit): 23" across sleeve length (from shoulder seam to sleeve hem): 8.5” centre back length: 29.5” pants ~ across waistband: 11” (or 22" when doubled) – measured unstretched but elastic waistband has stretch hips: 22” (or 44” when doubled) centre back length: 41”
