If you like Blue Willow or into blue and white decor this plate might be for you! Blue Willow has been produced around the world with the classic fence, the 3 figures on the bridge and the 2 flying birds. Overall one is in good pre-owned, vintage condition. It's definitely older than some Blue Willow. Companies in Japan started making Blue Willow for Americans in 1920. Those that say " made in Japan" when it became a requirement are newer. I think those after 1941 say "made in". There's an imperfection and it's visible in the transfer. See close up photo - starts at the detail near the birds. It looks like a scratch.
