90s vintage black chunky grunge buckle oxfords mary jane platform shoes US 7.5 8

unique pair of vintage mary jane platforms originally from trash and vaudeville in NYC that are straight from the 90s, the grunge era! the shoes are lightweight and the exterior feels like a suede or faux suede and the 1.5-2” platform is foam. the shoes have a very roomy rounded toe area and they fasten with a large silver buckle. super witchy “emily the strange” school girl vibes! these platforms would look great over tights or paired with white frilly or colorful printed socks. they are tagged as womens US 7.5 but they actually fit slightly larger, likely US 8 (for background, I usually wear size US 7.5 and I find these to be a bit too big, but nothing some thick knitted socks can’t fix!) the shoes are in good vintage condition with scuffing/markings throughout and wear and tear by the buckle area~
