90s vintage blue denim embellished hand painted flowers jean jacket medium

this unique and sturdy blue denim jacket “made in the u.s.a” by plain pockets for JC Penny from the 90s has been reworked by its previous owner with one-of-a-kind paint work and embellishments. the vintage jacket features colorful and glittery floral-inspired hand painted accents on the right arm and above the left chest, and silver studding in the shape of squares, circles and hearts throughout the front and the back! the collared jacket features a five front button closure, long sleeves with a button on each sleeve cuff (sleeves are quite long but can be rolled up), and four pockets (two button flap chest pockets and two slash waist pockets). there are two button adjustable cinching flaps on both sides of the back waistband. the jacket is made of a high-quality sturdy medium blue wash denim (100% cotton) with contrast yellow/gold stitching, and it has a boxy fit, and is unlined. such a cool piece that would be great to wear in all seasons and that is in excellent, well-preserved vintage condition, besides one light stain/imperfection on the front (looks to be dried glue adhesive). tagged as size extra large, and I would say this fits a bit smaller, and would best fit womens size medium (with sleeves rolled up) or size large, or mens size small. measurements (lying flat): shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 17.5” across bust (pit to pit): 20” across sleeve length: 25” centre back length (without collar): 22”
