90s vintage blue novelty tropical bird vacation embroidered patchwork jacket

this is a novelty vintage jacket by Patchington from the 90s featuring double-sided vacation themed embroideries of a large huron bird and palm trees in front of an abstract coastal ocean background – I love that the embroideries a mix of prints and fabrics! the tailored jacket features a blue subtly checkered body, a five front toggle button closure, a high crew neckline and long sleeves. there are many special details throughout the garment, such as the hand-painted glass toggle buttons and the unique gradient rope trimming. the jacket is made from a cotton/rayon blend, and is lined with a navy blue polyester fabric. such a playful and statement piece that would look great worn casually over jeans or to bring with you on your next tropical vacation! tagged as size extra small and I would say this fits a bit larger and would best fit womens size small or medium- however, please check measurements. in good “as is” condition with light discoloration and minor staining throughout, minor runs in the fabric, and light pilling – reflected in price. measurements (lying flat): shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 14” across bust: 18.5” across sleeve length: 22.5” centre back length: 25”
