90s vintage sailor blazer dress

Sophisticated early 90s vintage sailor nautical blazer dress by Canadian brand Rouie. A take on 1950s style. Sailor styles were all the rage for summer styles during the 80s into the early 90s, as well as through the 40s and 50s. Gorgeous metallic gold and white striped piping on the lapel collar. Three cascading seamlines that taper in to accentuate the body’s curve. Built in light shoulder padding for structure. White round large button closure and three hidden inside buttons that prevent the dress from opening up too much. Two functional with large flaps on the hips. Form fitting sheath fit. Gorgeous maroon lining on the inside. Great beachy, coastal look.
