90s vintage yellow rainbow embellished funky tshirt shorts matching coord set

this is a super fun and comfy two piece matching lounge set by Gantos from 1992 featuring rainbow gemstones and gold circle and rectangle shaped metal stud embellishments on a yellow background – love the retro 80s 90s vibes, and also that you can wear the pieces together or apart! the shirt features a crew neckline, roomy half sleeves, and a loose and boxy fit with a single stitch design. the matching shorts are high waisted, wide leg, and they hit above the knee, and the elastic waistband has mostly lost stretch due to age. the fabric is 100% cotton (some parts may be slightly sheer) and the set is made in the u.s.a. such a great set that would be perfect to wear at the beach on vacation, going to a picnic in the city, or just for lounging around retro-style! size is untagged but the waistband measures 35-36” when doubled, so I would say this best fits womens size large or XL, but please check measurements. in good vintage condition with minor staining, light tarnishing on embellishments, and light pilling. elastic waistband has also lost stretch due to age. measurements (lying flat): shirt~ shoulder seam to shoulder seam: 23” across bust (pit to pit): 22" across sleeve length (from shoulder seam to sleeve hem): 8.5” centre back length: 28” bottom opening: 24.5” shorts~ across waistband: 17.5-18” (or 35-36" when doubled) rise: 17” hips: 21-22” (or 42-44” when doubled) centre back length: 20”
