99 Bead Mother of Pearl Prayer Beads

To preface, my knowledge of religion is very limited so I will only speak to what I know. These prayer beads have a total of 99 beads made of mother of pearl, which are split into section. For example, in picture 3 there are thin beads towards the left that divide the top 33 beads from the remainder. They're still included in the count of 99. There is a symbol hanging at the bottom that is made of a gold tone metal. I don't know what it says, or if it even says anything, but the dangling balls make the softest little jingle. The beads are in very good condition and have only minor wear, if any.
