This is a fantastic vintage French textbook, "A Student's Manual of French Pronunciation" by Robert J. Gregg, head of the linguistic department of the University of British Columbia with a forward by J. G. Andison. It was published by The Macmillan Company in 1960. It is the First Edition.
It has orange cloth covered boards with black lettering and graphics on the cover and spine. It starts by teaching a student how to manipulate their speech organs and goes on to phonemes, the relationship between spelling and pronunciation, vowels, consonants, connected speech, and then wraps up with French readings. Perfect for the student in the classroom or at home.
This book is in very good condition. The cover and spine have some wear, discoloration and bumped corners. The pages are all very clean. The binding is good and tight. Please see the photos.
