nazer95 @aurora33180 I was about 2 1/2 hours South of Chicago around Peoria IL. Eureka was my hometown 4300 people 1 stoplight!! 😄 Yes, we were both very smart. You would have had even colder winters w/the lake effect. I always said if Chicago was warm all year round. But I fell in 💜 w/San Diego Downtown was perfect for work. Like you said SD has everything real Mexican food!! 😊I pet sit, so I'm always finding these different quaint neighborhoods.

My fav little restaurant there is in Little Italy, a small deli & store as you walk in, restaurant in back with wine flasks on ceiling & checkered table cloths. yugiohmom @aurora33180 one quick tip I learned, in the brand you might want to put vintage if there is no brand. I do that for all vintage and if it's a certain brand I put "Vintage (name of designer) Top. This way if anyone sees vintage in your title they can narrow the search by brand. A lot of people know about this. Also, great vintage share group vintage_vixens. Let me tag you on the how to join page.

yugiohmom @aurora33180 you still put the category as Hat but the BRAND as Vintage. I only put the designer name in the title rather than the brand category. Many of the vintage ladies out there may see a vintage "brand " in your first few items and then want to see all. They'd use the pull down menu of brand to see vintage and sort that way. Hope that helps!

It is one of my favorites as well. I think it's Fillipi's there are a handful in the county. I watch dogs & cats mostly. How long are you going to b in FL?

That's the one....with flasks from the ceiling :) I usually worked in the Caribbean however used SoCal as a base for work in Mexico & LatAm, but my knee surgery has left me less able to make those trips so I'm here in Florida to stay. Poshmark is my escape from Physical Therapy, icing, and job-searching :) P.S. Have you tried the Hash House for breakfast? Rachel Ray recommended it years ago & it is a cool spot....with big portions!

aurora33180 @akweinstock Ann! Small world indeed :) Marquette is wonderful...a top notch school! You'll have to ask your nephew about the Fireside Restaurant/Playhouse in Fort Atkinson. I worked there while going to Whitewater...initially got a job interpreting for the Mexican Folkloric dance group they brought up from Mexico to put on dinner theatre productions. (I got a 2nd H.S. diploma from Sagrado Corazon in Honduras when there learning Spanish so it came in helpful!). Beautiful campus!

aurora33180 For anyone wondering, I snapped the 2nd photo of the 3 beautiful children while in Antigua, Guatemala many moons ago! It remains one of my favorite photos ever taken. The young boy & his little sisters were selling the tiny homemade birds on a string (pajaritos) he is holding in his hand.....I bought them all & gave them as gifts when I returned to the states :)

beemer550 @aurora33180 I would be only so grateful if it was humorous . Dive was Saturday, and the prior Tuesday I was diagnosed with Parasysmal Atrial Fibrillation. 37 years old at the time. Also bouts of AV Nodal reentrant tachycardia. If not familiar with, easy on google or I could explain later as I developed a knowledge expertise.

beemer550 Changed my entire life in profound ways, but what still bothers me the most is not feeling right to get that cert. a losing out on the experiences to come. I went under with a tank twice prior to getting a proper cert. Etc.. I thought I'd died and was reborn when I swam on a reef as part of the world undiscovered. Another dimension. It haunts me still, 12 years later.

I just googled both, not having previously heard of either, and you are very fortunate a doctor diagnosed you as they say it is very dangerous for your heart. It also said it frequently reoccurs...hopefully yours is under control and not interrupting your life in any way. My prayers are with you!

As you know, although the road from the airport to PAP is well-paved now, the road to the north past St Marc & Gonaives can be difficult so a missionary plane would fly us to Port du Paix & Cap, etc. The deforestation breaks my heart & I lost good friends in the earthquake, but I have beautiful hope for Haiti...good things to come!

I'll never forget a visit we made to an orphanage when I was living in Honduras. A young girl was crying because she couldn't find her bible so we gave her one of ours and her face just lit up. As for my closet, I use a free app called Photo Grid. It actually does so much more, but I'm learning as I go :) There are other apps out there...this is simply the one someone recommended to me shortly after I joined Posh! If you have any questions as you try it, just ask & I'll see if I can guide you...and so nice e-meeting you!

I still need spinal surgery to ease pressure on bulging discs & will need to do physical therapy the rest of my life my knee surgeon said, but I should exercise anyway so that's ok. Also, it wasn't cheap like Mexico but we all created a budget and stayed within it. I used everything I made from posh to go.

dancingbee05 I bright toys for the kids and they were so grateful. Ali (the other girl I was traveling with) brought an extra pair of shoes to give away. At the end I gave or host mom my shampoo ect and she started crying. Such a small gesture on my part meant so much to her Bc everything's rationed over there. I've traveled a fair amount but It made me realize how lucky we are to live where we do. ❤️

I asked a girl who flew back with us about her experience in Cuba & she said she hated it because it was "run down and the people haggled her." I don't know what she expected but I was disappointed for her.

aurora33180 @dancingbee05 I agree...what a shame that was her take-away! My experience was full of laughs & tears...changed my life in profound ways! After the year abroad, I studied Int'l Business & have spent the 35+ years since working & volunteering in/with developing countries worldwide (although primarily LatAm & Carib). I've battled endometriosis (2 surgeries) all my life & couldn't have children, so that was/is my life! And God has been at my side throughout it all :) Hugs, Aurora xoxo

aurora33180 @dancingbee05 One of my fondest memories is going with my school (Sagrado Corazon) to an orphanage. A young girl was crying because she lost her bible & when we handed her one of ours her face lit up with the biggest smile ever. We had no running water (used a water tank), no A/C, I slept on a simple little cot, & we used a scrub board as no one had a washing machine...yet it was a beautiful experience that transformed me into who I am today :) Be sure to tag me on your blog & photos!!! xoxo

lynnie222 I love Punta Gorda. Lived there when hurricane Charlie came through. Lost most everything but I am so blessed to have been available ever day for a month to supply my coworkers supplies. I worked at deans south of the border at the time. Great folks. They have rebuilt now. I am now in Sarasota which I don't care Of with all the growth and pretentious folks, however, my dad is here and to be able to be a mile away from him, blessed beyond my wildest dreams!

The driver's INS co (GEICO) only offered to pay a fraction of my exp/losses so I had to hire an attorney. I won the court case, but $ awarded went to my attorney fees & I was still stuck w/ med exp & lost wages. I'm blessed to be alive, however, so I am now focusing on all things positive!!! fmrp Wow! I havnt dived for..over 18yrs. I’m selling my things because I just spent 7months with a demo and repair of my parent’s home in Roswell, Ga after my mother had a stroke. She’s in assisted living where my father stays with her, using his entire USMC retirement check, plus savings for her care at over $7,000 a month. I filled 3; 30 yard dumpsters in their house... such a mess. Now I’m back in Pa and cleaning my closets.. and buying other people’s treasures?... omg!

I'm sorry to hear about your Mom's stroke...my Dad (Semper Fi like your Dad) has had a couple strokes & a triple-bypass so I know how difficult recovery & rehab are. It is good that your Dad is able to stay with her......

I often skip my physical therapy because I have to package/ship during the day and I frequently stay up all night as I have many customers in CA and I'm in FL. I am organized and OCD however :) I keep all my items in my office/Posh room so convenient to get to. I have a process of printing label, doing thank you note, wrapping & packaging. I try to have a stack of P.M. boxes made up.....continued....

One option would be to perhaps get a Chalk one with shades of blue in a design on the front? Is your bag pebble, crossgrain or smooth leather....or coated canvas? And gold or silver hardware? aurora33180 @pocci Hello! I only have a few "retail" Coach items right now, most are Outlet. You are right that the designs (and names) are different, but they are actually made from the exact same leather selections so the quality if identical. Retail bags, however, will often have a bit more detail and deeper gatherings/folds (requiring more leather) plus come with a dust bag, hence the higher price. Depending on the style, most people can't tell the difference :) continued....

aurora33180 @pocci The Coach outlet actually gets some "overflow" bags from retail. They put a style number on the tag starting with an "F" to show it was purchased from the outlet, but the style# on the bag itself will not have the "F" at the beginning of the style#.
