betsybarden Good afternoon this is Betsy. I just had a couple of quick questions that I hope that you could answer for me or at least give me some advice. I spoke with a few people who said that I should probably diversify my closet. So I've ventured in to some clothing items as rather than just jewelry. My question is, should I sell items of various sizes or should I only focus on things that are my current size and build a clientele of those who wear that size?

betsybarden I'm really not sure what to do. I don't know if I'm pricing things wrong I try to base things on what I see online on the various venues. I don't know if I'm going into too much detail as I spend a lot of time describing taking pictures and making them nice but wonder if I should just simplify it. I would advise you to have the first photo of your listings with a white background it's the only way to get your stuff searchable on google. Photoroom is fantastic for removing background. I think your descriptions are perfectly informative. Keep engaging with your fellow poshers, share your items to share shows, and keep listing - you're doing great!!!

shopofclosets @lucky645 I have not done the promoted listing on Poshmark but I have read multiple mixed reviews. with that being said I went through your closet and you have great stuff at amazing prices!! You have priced your items to sell. From my understanding, the promoted listing only work if someone is searching for the item(s). I think if it's working, keep doing what works. ❤️

The only thing that I have noticed is that since I did the promoted closet I sold close to 10 items when I wasn’t selling anything for a while so I think what I’m gonna do is I’m gonna give it a try one more month see if it brings me more sales And then decide that way.
