A very pretty oriental rectangle shaped blue and white tea or storage canister. This Chinese canister features borders of repeat designs, rural riverbank scenes on the front and back, and a bird on a branch with floral motifs on the sides and on the top of the lid. This canister is made of ceramic, glazed on the surface. Marked on the bottom, I am not sure about the translation. It is in good condition with no chips, cracks or flakes.
