ACBC started out as a gofundme to produce a concept shoe that became wildly successful for its innovative and environmentally conscious thinking. Now they're well on their way to revolutionizing the entire shoemaking industry with the development of an environmental audit system that has been widely adopted by many manufacturers, as well as lots of ongoing collaborations with established designers, contributing an assortment of sustainable and biodegradable engineered plastics to these projects. Their initial design offering was for a line of shoes featuring interchangeable uppers that can be zipped on or off, depending on what kind of look you want. They have a web site & sell an ongoing and ever expanding range of uppers, which are pretty reasonably priced, so you can have an entire wardrobe of shoes in very little space. This particular pair was purchased as a women's size EU41, but the design is unisex & AFAIK, most of their styles are intended to be unisex. And yes, the top does zip off, and replacement uppers are still available in a variety of sizes, colors and styles. The fit is slightly smaller than average for a typical size 41, but I can just fit into them, so I'd say these will work for either a women's size 9 to 9.5, or a men's size 7 to 7.5, maybe 8. This pair is brand new and unworn, but they didn't come with the original box, which is the only reason they aren't marked NWT.
