I typically use BLACK OAK acorns and caps, which are: • Harvested by hand • Carefully hand selected • INDIVIDUALLY cleaned and inspected • Bone dry, free of mold or mildew • Hand painted [non-toxic] Felled oak and other hardwood twigs are used for the stem. Height of ornament is 2 inches without rings or ties. Waxed thread, leather working grade, measures 2.5-3 inches. For Ornamental and decorative use only.
