ALONG THE RIVER DURING THE QINGMING FESTIVAL ~ SILK CHINESE SCROLL

Reproduction of famous Chinese scroll painting "Along the River During the Qingming Festival"; constructed with silk threads. It is one of China's most famous and priceless paintings, here reproduced with silk threads. The most fine of silk threads used on this work of art is 1/10 silk thread, meaning that the artist split the thread up to 10 strands in order to get this incredibly detailed effect. 100% hand embroidered. Measures approx. 137 cm long; I had to turn the picture sideways as I hung it on a door to showcase it. It has ribbons at the the top and bottom of the scroll as seen in last photo. Like new condition, I have had it safely stored for a long time in a smoke free environment.
