I would definitely say they fit small, if you are familiar with american apparel shorts you know they like to show a little cheek from time to time!
That being said, I definitely think these are short in a way that is wearable, and they are classic and comfy :)
*Please note I am selling two pairs of these shorts, they are slightly different in colour
