ANTIQUE Cobalt blue glass and aged silver tone metal brooch ~ Big Edwardian pin

Big, bold, and breathtakingly beautiful, this stunning turn-of-the-last-century brooch with its ornate design of etched, lightweight, silvery (or pewter) tone metal and translucent, faceted cobalt blue glass is swoon-worthily fantastic! 🤩 In good shape for its venerable age, this unsigned brooch likely dates to the 1910s - 1920s. Were it not for the early style safety clasp on the back, I could easily see it being an even older piece (it is theoretically possible that it is indeed earlier and someone had the clasp replaced later on, though there is no evidence to my eyes of such a repair/replacement). Likely, it is an Edwardian era brooch that channels an older design. 💙😍 📦 All items are lovingly packaged and shipped out quickly (same - two day shipping) from a dog-friendly home that is free of smoke and cat hair. 📏 Approximate measurements: 2.4 inches / 6 cm wide, just over 1.75 inches / 4.4 cm tall, and about 0.5 inches / 1.2 cm deep (thick). ⚖️ Approximate weight: 17 grams / 0.59 ounces 💗 Item condition: Good gently worn antique/vintage condition. There is some light general age/surface wear and darkening of the metal in spots. The pin stem has some plating loss and is slightly bent, but is still in good working order.
