ANTIQUE Coin silver, marcasite, and turquoise glass deer brooch ~ Victorian pin

This sweepingly beautiful late Victorian era 900 (coin) silver, marcasite, turquoise glass, and copper or possibly rose gold plated stag brooch is such a stunning piece of antique costume jewelry. This antique pin (which dates to c. 1880s - 1900s) is in good shape and includes a small pendant hook on the back that allows it to also be worn as a necklace, if so desired, and features a round design comprised of two layers. One, the base layer, has small circles of what I believe is turquoise glass (not plastic or real stone, though I cannot say for certain). The next layer has prong-set grey marcasites and is topped with a central openwork panel that depicts a stag deer jumping through some greenery. This panel is plated (or possibly made from) either copper or rose gold, based on its colouring.
