ANTIQUE RUST & COBALT CUP & SAUCER - ATLAS

This antique English cup & saucer has a brown pattern transfer that is hand-colored in rust and very dark cobalt with touches of green and highlights of bright gilding. The colour combination was particularly popular during the 1920’s and 30’s, and this cup & saucer is a very nice example of the style. The cup is about 4 inches across the bowl and about 2 ½ inches high. The saucer is 5 ½ inches wide. Both pieces are in good condition, without cracks, chips, scratches, stains, or any other damage or defect. Handsome!
