ANTIQUE/VINTAGE SOVEREIGN CANADA BRITISH EMPIRE MADE EMBOSSED PLATTER WITH ROSES

I do believe this could be an antique but I am just not positive. It is a large pottery platter with flowers embossed around the rim. A petite rose pattern is on the piece. The rim is painted gold.
