AS NEW vintage 1981-1985* Aljean blood red, forest green, and off-white wool kilt By Aljean Canada Inc (of Vancouver) Pure virgin wool Two buttons and a snap closure in waist Two fabric-covered buttons and the traditional pin close the front Size S: Waist: 27.5" (can be adjusted within reason by moving the buttons and snap) Length: 24.5" The fabric is in as-new condition; it honestly looks like it was never worn. The pleats are still crisp. The buttons are perfect. Model photo for styling ideas only. *Aljean was first trademarked in 1962 and in use from April 1950. The name was changed to Aljean Canada Inc in 1981. It was changed again in 1986. This skirt is therefore from 1981 to 1985.
