Bought a new pair of these but version 5 - too mush and you work too hard - thinking about these just to try as they are supposed to be firmer. Is it just me or is there a little dirt on the toe in pic 1 - bottom shoe.
Let me know would you please. Have a chance to buy a new pair in a colour I actually like but...... $$$$$ too high for what I want - I am a Saucony 20/221 guy all the way but want a different shoe in rotation. Thanks

@geezerockdude the Novablast 4s are quite squishy, so if you’re looking for a firmer shoe, these might not work for you. And yes, there is some dirt on the medial side of the toe box, as these are used.

@pyscloset Thank you for the quick reply. Wow based on reviews I have read these are supposed to be MUCH Firmer than the Novablast 5 and the5's ARE REALLY squishy. Thank you for the Info.
Guess will just wait a couple of weeks to buy new Saucony Triumph 23 - took a pass on 22 - felt like Clogs:-)

@geezerockdude I haven’t tried the 5s yet so can’t compare, but I found the 4s to be soft and kind of flat in terms of response. It was fine for easy days and treadmill runs, but lacked that “umph” for everything else in my opinion. Hope that helps!

@pyscloset It DOES thanks. Something about these shoes is just not quite right. I walk/run as fast as a marathoner, due to age and a host of injuries but the NOVO 5's are unstable. I find it really easy to roll your ankle and it feels like running in quicksand - something like the original Gel Nimbus Lite 1's.
