AS-IS M71 Swiss Paratrooper Army helmet complete with leather liner 52-54, Cold

...war militaria collectible A vintage metal Swiss army helmet, very simple and classic in shape. It has the padded leather liner, patinated and with marks of age and use, and a plastic white tag - assuming with a previous owners´ name and service number, but I am finding it hard to read. The metal on the inside of the helmet is marked 52-54 (I believe this to be the head sizing indicator in cms) The M1971 helmet (Also known as M71) is a military steel combat helmet used by Switzerland from its formal introduction in 1971 until its gradual replacement by the Schuberth B826 (known in Switzerland as the Schutzhelm 04) Condition: BEWARE - ITEM SMELLS VERY STRONGLY OF TOBACCO. With scuffing to the top of the helmet, some of the leather padding with tearing to the sides, but overall, it smells really strongly of (old) cigarettes.
