It allows you to use your existing USB keyboard (e.g. your favorite mechanical USB keyboard without Bluetooth) and your USB mouse with a computer and 2 more bluetooth devices (it can be 2 additional computers, laptops, Android or Apple devices). It probably will also work with Linux machines, but I have not tried it. Important note: The initial configuration does take time and requires patience. You will need to read the user manual. The device comes programmed for Mac and Apple devices, however you may need to reprogram it. You need to connect each device to it and all is done using hotkeys and USB keyboard.
