Catherine Baschet designed this iconic Hermes scarf in 1990. Filled with intricate detail, her creation depicts several qalamdans, which are Persian boxes for storing pens. This vintage scarf is dark navy blue with vibrant Persian motifs is purple, turquoise, green, gold, red and pink. Showing luxurious flora and fauna surrounded by realistic looking engraved and enamelled outlines. It is in near perfect condition with no snags, holes or pulls. The hand rolled hems are in great condition and care tag is intact. This scarf would have been purchased at Holt Renfrew Vancouver in the 1990's.
