About Inspiration Boreal

This listing is not for sale! Hello there! Curious? I am the owner of a small business, Inspiration Boreal. I use Birch Polypore, Artist Conk and Red Belted Polypore mushrooms as a canvas for my drawings. These are shelf mushrooms that grow on trees all across North America. They are hard, like wood. After being dried for a week or two, they are ready for me to draw on them. Every mushroom varies so much in colour, shape and size that it's an adventure so see what kind of a drawing would suit them best. All drawings are pen and/or ink. My wish is that everyone could own a beautiful piece of artwork, for a reasonable price. I price my pieces fairly. My prices range from $25 to $300 depending on how much work went into the project. I have each piece that is available for sale at this time listed individually.
