I am Wife to my wonderful husband, Greg; Mom to the beautiful Cristina; Grandma JoJo to the amazing, rambunctious Logan and Paige. I have two crazy Corgis, Ally and Doug. I have been an IT professional for 23 years. When life threw me an unexpected curveball in early 2013 and left me with a chronic illness, in pain and unable to work, I found Poshmark. It has been my savior. It has kept me from going crazy with the unexpected benefit of meeting some fabulous, beautiful spirited women.💜✌

Hi sorry to hear about your illness. i hope uou can find some relief soon. Poshing can be good medicine😜. I've been posting for about a month now and I am hooked! My two corgis (Barkley and Lizzy) look almost identical to yours.....crazy! Then I read on and saw that you got on Posh after an illness that kept you from working. Hi there almost a neighbor... I live in Ashland ,I have 4 brothers who all live out towards you . Upton two bros and another in whitensville ,the other he's in Maine.. I too know allllll about chronic PAIN that's a four letter word in my book!! My problem is a bit diff, I had a horrific accident 30 yrs ago when I was 15 I was literally run over by a 18 wheeler truck. I was crushed from the waist down. Served almost a yr in Framingham union and 100 operations later Mass General too and Shriners for children too. I have the best Dr's around . I passed and they brought me back . There is NO white light or anyone talking to me . Lol well I could talk forever but I'm gonna shut up for now... WELCOME TO POSH!!! You can always talk to me if you need. I love to help people in situations where a life is altered for one reason or another. Stay strong and keep your chin up when the pain isn't so bad ... I've been blessed to still be alive and doing well other than you know that four letter word I hate!! (PAIN) Bella nice to meet you

@cskars10 Thank you very much. For the most part I do stay strong. I just went 6 months without a hospital stay. Then I was admitted on Saturday afternoon. So right now all my old fears are back, I don't know if I have it in me to start again what I went through the first 5 months of the year. And I'll just be pissed if I'm sick through the holidays again. But I'll find that strength. I always do. You stay strong too. And know that you always have an ear.💜✌️

Well fear and worry never save us from anything. In fact they only make it more likely we will end up in the hospital I've found. I have kept myself from being admitted for 5 months now! It's quite a small accomplishment, but we take what we can get! Take care my friend!

We don't have enough time in the world to go over my problems but all I know is that people like you and I see the world differently. Everyday that I wake up on the green side of the grass is a gift and little problems are put on the correct perspective. My illnesses are just a small part of my life because I have "things to do!". @daisygirl321 Hi Joanne. Nice to meet you! I've been having a hard time with all of this for the last few weeks. I think the realization that I'm going to finally lose my job, the company has so graciously held for me for close to 10 months has me feeling like a bit of a failure. We are strong and we do see the world in simpler terms, I think. At Thanksgiving I heard my sisters talk of the issues with their spouses. Later, alone with my Mom, I cried and told her they just don't get it and it's something I could never say to them. 💕💕💕I hope you finally re-couped from the party (lol). I understand about chronic illness's, I'm 43 & haven't worked in 5 yrs because I also have a chronic illness. I have Trigenimal Neuralgia. It is the worst debilitating pain I could ever imagine. It comes in episodes, certain things trigger it. The cold NY weather is the worst, I don't go out in the winter, I can't go out in wind, no chocolate or alcohol. Th pain meds don't always help😢😢😢. My income is PM and my husband is self-employed (this past summer was so slow for him). The dr.'s told me my winters in NY are over but 3/4's of my husband's salary come from plowing Hotel accounts & commercial accts so I'll have to leave him in NY while I go to St. Thomas for the winters (lol). I hope you feel well. Are you in cold weather winter climates?? ❄️❄️❄️⛄️⛄️⛄️

@loriscloset50 Is that all facial pain? I just can't imagine. Mine is bad enough. Chronic pancreatitis has left me with chronic nerve pain I my back. I've been out of work since Feb. I officially lost my job yesterday. :( But even if they were to get my pain under control, the side effects of the pain, would still keep me out of work. I imagine that we're on similar meds. I have long term disability from my employer and I have applied for SSDI. I'm waiting to be scheduled for a psych test. The examiner has told my atty that when I go for that exam, if there are any signs of cognitive issues, I will likely be approved. We are planning on selling our house and moving closer to my daughter. Housing costs are less. My husbands employer will support him telecommuting. It all just sucks! Lol. I live in MA, so I might just be a little colder than you. I think it got up to about 11 degrees today. Cold triggers your pain? I can spend winters in St. Thomas with you. It's not a place where you'd want to live alone!😉😘

I've made 2 sales in about 7 weeks so I'm about ready to throw in the towel anyway. I've never made more than 1 or two sales a week to begin with.

I think there's been a lot of that going on because I heard several people say that they weren't making any sales or this year is nothing like last holiday. I joined in May so I wasn't here last year this time. So apparently it's been slow but please don't consider throwing in the towel. You have too many people that have come to care about you & you'll be ganged up on!! (Lol) I'm hoping 2014 is better because I know the feeling on sales I made 3 sales in 2 months. I think as women, we are just so used to being on the go, raising families, working, that was life stops us in our tracks it is harder to deal with than the illness or injury that stopped us. But Posh certainly does more than pass the time! It given has given me a community of women that just support me. 😘

To me, it doesn't make this horrible disease feel quite so lonely. I just wish I had more time for it right now! I'm in the middle of selling and buying a house is it's a bit crazy. My pancreatitis isn't liking the stress so much. I was almost in the ER yesterday. Grrr. 💜✌️

@jojobobolago Sorry it took so long to answer back. I have bouts of energy then bouts of complete exhaustion! That happened last night. I fell asleep b4 the Posh party started. I felt so bad b/c I got a Host Pick & wasn't there to respond etc.,. Nothing like the stress of selling/buying a house. I have seen it all being in the mortgage business. Couples have gotten divorced over building a new house. Sounds crazy! I guess the stress can affects ppl in diff ways.. I hate to hear it is stressing you out so much! I hope things will ease for you soon! I do well thru a situation & I fall apart after it's all said and done. It's so nice to meet you & I hope you get to feeling better soon!! (((Hugs))) Lynn

@lmfashion I hope you're feeling better today. Saturday I crawled into bed at 3:30 in the afternoon to take a nap. I slept until 7:00 the next morning! My move is stressing me because it is not a local move. I'm moving 65 miles, close to my daughter and grandchildren. But, I'm moving away from all of my doctor's. And they've seen me through all of this and the long term disability process, as well as social security disability. I'm still waiting for a determination on that. This is where I've called home for 18 years. The move is a good thing and was our decision in order to help me keep my sanity! But it is scary for me nonetheless. Our inspection is Wed. I will breath easier once the P&S is signed and the insp. complete.

I'm so sorry I had to do this to you all. But in a weeks time I sold my house, I may have bought another, I've had more medical tests and I'm moving at the end of April. I just can't focus here and soon I will be closing my closet until after I get settled.

Movers come to fill a POD tomorrow, then again on Wednesday. From there we will be in an empty house, sleeping on an air mattress for a week! @barnette Thank you so much for always sharing my closet, Rose! I just haven't been able to keep if on returning the favor. I was back in the hospital this week, third time in 3 months. So I haven't had much time to think about Posh. Well, except for my 2 sales that I needed to get out the same day I was going to the ER. My husband mailed them for me, but last night I found out that the labels were on the wrong packages! So embarrassing! Anyway, I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all of your shares. Everyone else has given up on me! But that's my own fault for being away for so long through my move last year.💜✌️

@rcatheron Doug is the red one. He's 3 1/2 and 39 pounds. That's very big for a corgi. He's not overweight, he's just a big boy. Both his parents were big. Ally is 7 and is 27 pounds. That's more normal! Corgi's are herders, so I bet they'd be great in your environment. They love to please, and they love having everyone in the same room!

I know mine are, they're always able to make me smile, even on my grayest days. Maybe because of their stupid-crazy antics, but more likely it's because they love unconditionally.
