Hello fellow Poshers! My name is Christina. I'm Mom to two adult kids and a recent empty nester, a makeup artist, a makeup junkie, and a vintage clothing fanatic. I also enjoy period costuming and have recently begun learning to do historically accurate hair and makeup. I only allow myself to keep a small number of pieces in my personal vintage collection, simply for the sake of space. Buying and selling allows me to see, smell (yes, I actually enjoy “Eau De Thrift Store") and touch all the beautiful styles and fabrics, without filling my house to overflowing. Best of all, I get to pass on the joy of finding a truly amazing piece to other vintage lovers. I launder and do small repairs when possible. I don’t launder items with tags still attached, or those that are too fragile. However, I have other ways to freshen and sanitize, and I will always try to deliver items in the best possible condition. I'm not an expert, but I do try to know my facts. I will always do my best to provide the most thorough, honest and accurate description I can. But dating pieces can be a tricky business even among the most knowledgeable buyers and collectors. I will never purposely mislead buyers on the age or provenance of a piece, but it's possible that I will make mistakes here and there. I ask for grace and understanding if that happens, as it is never my intent to deceive. I sincerely hope you enjoy Poshing with me!
