Growing up I remember many a fight with my mother when we would go shopping for clothing at thrift stores, now it’s hard to keep me out of them. I have a passion for vintage dresses, vintage men’s acrylic cardigans, oversized floppy brimmed Sun hats and fun vintage bobbles to accessorize with. Living in a residential area where the median age is 73 the neighbors have taken note of those things and often offer me a chance to buy treasures they have had tucked away in closets for years before they offer them to anyone else. (And often get to hear the stories of what important events happened when they were worn) What I don’t keep for myself I post online for someone else to find.
