_scs_ @kardarmitchell It can be shortened or you can use the extra eyelets at the top to pin the tongue down. Leave a little room to create a 1⁄2–1 in (1.3–2.5 cm) loop. Then, run each lace through the loop on the opposite side and pull tight before tying your shoes. This holds your tongue in place by pinning it down once the shoes are tied.
