"Affinity" zen stones. Set of 3 small hand wrapped stones with twigs. Handwrapped by Seller in Canada. This represents "affinity" among friends, and family. This gift set includes 3 stones hand wrapped with suede leather and twigs of : Maple, Rattan, and Copper Beech. Each set will come with a large leaf which may or may not look like the one in the pics (red or orange or a mix of colours) which I picked from my garden and carefully press dried, which is great for display. Using the traditional rock wrapping and knotting technique, I wrapped each stone with a continuous piece of suede leather cord without any glue. Though time consuming and rough on the fingers, I have found rock wrapping to be calming and meditative. This is inspired by the Japanese wrapped rock which can be found in shrines or in front of a garden. It is a stone or rock tied with a black rope and it means "hold your step" or a polite way of saying "do not enter". So I call it a "privacy stone" where you can place it in a room where you want to preserve your own space, your privacy, your little haven. Measurement of each stone: approximately 1.5 inches long, 1 inch wide, 1 inch in height Due to differences in screen settings, colors may differ between photos and the physical product. Also, the piece will look slightly different in color under different lighting.
