ameliabentley @jmazeppa They’re actually 3rd generation. Not 2nd and new and unopened. As you can tell by the packaging. Anything 2nd or 3rd generation that’s new and unopened, going to $150 or a bit more is fake fake fake. The sound quality is not great and apple will know immediately when you bring them in because there’s issues. Just a warning to you. Probably not worth the money. Be careful.

ameliabentley @goofyduckjoe I don’t have one as they were a gift. I don’t think AppleCare is available for AirPods. They’re brand new, sealed, and absolutely authentic. I’m loyal to my Beats by Dre so I don’t use them. lol. I’ve given my mom a few pairs of AirPods over the years and they seem to be pretty reliable.
