The blade is etched with a flag that has random stars on it. Perfect for chopping herbs to chopping nuts to slicing cheese and meats, cleaning and filleting fish and such. The approx. 1" thick wooden cutting bowl has a slot to hold the knife when not in use. The 8" square board has a shallow round bowl in the centre for easy cutting with the curved blade.
