Alberto Guardiani metallic silver & white flatform gladiator sandals, EUC

Alberto Guardiani mostly makes what I suppose you'd call 'athleisure' footwear, with frequent excursions into tongue-in-cheek high fashion. Making things look like other things is always a design trick that gets my attention - Guardiani is famously responsible for the lipstick heel that was all the rage a few years back. With this rather architectural gladiator sandal, it's a bit more subtle - the metallic silver leather is stamped to look like seatbelt webbing, giving these a very modern, urban aesthetic. I can say from experience, these sandals will absolutely elevate a boring grey housedress or baggy sweatpants to elegant heights. Marked size 41, these are a comfortable fit for a size 9.5 and should work for up to size 10 quite nicely. They've been worn only once and a half, so apart from some light scuffing on the soles, they're in excellent condition.
