This vivid account of the life and times of Paul Revere was published in 1942 in Boston by Houghton Mifflin Company.
"An elegant storyteller and expert historian, Edith Forbes paints a memorable portrait of American colonial history and of this most legendary of revolutionary heroes."
This book has a light reddish orange hardcover with navy blue lettering on the spine and crest on the front cover. The front and back inside covers feature a 1769 map of Boston. Throughout the book are glossy photos of historical documents, engravings and artifacts. It contains an extensive Bibliography, an Index, Notes, and Genealogical Data.
There is wear, fading and bumped corners on the covers. There is a stamp inside the front cover. The inside pages are very clean with no marks at all that I could find save some slight yellowing. The binding is good and tight. There is no dust jacket.
