Amethyst Improved Crown Jar

Improved Crown purple canning jar. 1940's canning jar. Over time the UV from the sun has reacted to the lead or manganese in the glass to turn purple. Many manufacturing bubbles as well as where the glass was cut on the bottom. No cracks, but a couple flea bites around the lip which don't affect the integrity. Not original glass lid. *experienced glass shipper*
