An original British made striped wool scarf dating from the middle of the 20th Century. This style of scarf is often referred to as a 'college' scarf due to its association with schools, colleges and universities. They were worn for may years and remained unchanged throughout the decades which makes them hard to date today. This example most likely dates from around the 1950s but could be earlier or later. There are some signs of wear and age but overall it displays well and is totally wearable. A nice original mid Century scarf in good condition.
