Very soft and drapey material. Buttons at shoulders to button up the short sleeves. While this is an Ann Taylor petite sized dress, this is an oversized shirt dress and has no waist other than the belt. Measures 20 inches from pit to pit and waist (straight cut and the belt is for chinching). Worn once in Italy for some touring. Though labeled as petite, the actual sizing is better for a US Small or US medium given the drape and cut.
