The bottom is a rubber sole and the base strap that the material is tied onto is genuine leather as is the toe straps. The foot/ ankle straps are a very high quality, duable but soft material. Very comfy as Naturalizer shies are but too big for me as I am a 7.5 and these are a true 8M. Bought at Anthropologie. Brand new.
