Antique 14K Gold Amethyst Bar Brooch Ryrie Edwardian Art Deco Jewelry

Beautiful antique gold bar brooch with amethysts and seed pearls. - Circa 1900~1924 - Stamped 14K - 3 grams In excellent vintage condition. Ryrie Brothers, a Toronto-based retail jeweler, was established in 1897. They were known for selling jewelry and watches, and were initially a partnership between James Ryrie and his brother. In 1905, Ryrie Brothers became a subsidiary of Birks, another prominent Canadian jeweler, and continued to operate under the Ryrie name until 1924, when they merged with Birks to become Ryrie-Birks.
