Antique 14K gold hat or stick pin with five opals

A dainty bit of luxury! Five little opals measuring about 5/8 inch total adorn this pin, which is 2-1/2 inches at its longest. The pin is unmarked but jeweller tested as 14K gold. I believe the sliding piece is brass. The piece is in very good vintage condition, with the setting secure. Two condition issues: holding the pin with the opals up, the second one from the left has a miniscule chip near the edge, while the one at the right is imperfect in shape and not exactly the same colour as the others. I asked a jeweller about replacing that opal and was told it would likely not be worth the additional investment, as the issues are hardly noticeable.
