Antique 1800s Royal Nippon Jardiniere Decorative Porcelain Pot

This jardiniere, which is another term for a decorative plant pot, is in a stunning cobalt blue colour with gold accents and floral imagery on the sides. This is made by Nippon (Japan), but because it's unmarked, it actually dates before 1890. Closing into the 1900s is when Nippon had to start to mark their items for import. There is a large chip on one side near the rim, which is attached to a crack that goes down the side.
