Antique 1882 Rare Chloe by Vasselot Intaglio Photogravure Print of Sculpture

A gorgeous intaglio photogravure print of the original sculpture 'Chloe' by Anatole Marquet Vasselot with it's correspongding artful description. This print and description are pages from the rare book The Masterpieces of French Art, By Louis Viardot, published by Gravure Goupil et Cie, Paris, 1882 & 1883 and Gebbie & Co Philidelphia 1884. These particular pages are from the Imperial Edition Portfolio. This edition is especially rare, it was not printed after 1882 and only 1000 were printed. These prints would look fantastic framed side by side. These pages are as found with foxing around the edges and one small tear as shown. The water mark on the print of the sculpture is much less apparent in person. Overall good condition for the age and with the assumption that matting would be used within a frame they will look wonderful. The page with Chloe measures 19.5 inches x 14.5 inches. The description page is ever so slightly longer, just between 19.5 and 19 3/4 inches
