Antique 1920’s Bavaria HJ Co 5637 Floral + Gilded Gold Round Casserole Dish

Absolutely stunning lidded casserole dish manufactured by HJ Company in Bavaria, Germany, circa 1920’s. The ornate floral pattern very reminiscent of Limoges designs and is absolutely gorgeous displaying yellow, blue, pink, orange, and green colours with black accents, on a white base. The manufacture stamp was used between 1922-1930, making this dish approximately 100 years of age. It is numbered ‘5637’ on the bottom of the dish, and features gilded gold handles. This casserole dish is in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, etc. however there is slight wear on the center of the gold handles and two minor flea bites along the dish rim, as seen in photos Measurements: 5” inches height including lid x 10 1/4” inches length including handles x 8 1/8” inches diameter Vintage china often has small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
