Antique 19th Century Saphiret Ladies Ring

Ok we aren’t playing here. This beautiful 19th century saphiret glass ring is an incredible find. One of my personal pieces I have had for years. A brass setting with a light gold overlay. The saphiret are in beautiful vintage condition. Either you love it or you don’t. Saphiret glass was formed by pouring real gold into blue glass which makes the blue flash. Saphiret is not tempered so it’s not going to like everyday rough wear. It doesn’t like water and like any glass stone , can chip. The true collector will know this.
