Antique 30s-40s Mosaic Cross w/Pope portrait

Made in Italy, antique circa 30s-40s, mosaic cross in lively pearl gray, off white, light blue and coral red tones, with tiny inscription Roma at the bottom, the cross is beautifully crafted with attention to details, it features the portrait of Pope in the centre, based on my research, it could be Pope Pius XI (papacy between 1922-1939), a lovely collectible piece, measures 5 cm long, overall in good wearable condition for the age, please note some normal wear/aging signs to the metal on the reverse, as seen in the photos, a tiny mosaic piece is missing in the very bottom, not really noticeable, otherwise great, the clasp has been professionally repaired and a rose gold bail was added, comes from a non-smoking environment, a rare estate find!
