Antique 7 Piece Nippon Hand Painted Bowl Set - Fruit, Dessert, Nut, Berry Dishes

This beautiful and unique Nippon hand painted porcelain serving bowl plus six small bowls set is one of a kind! All dishes feature a blue edge decorated with pink florals, vines and greenery, on a white base, and a delicate gold trim. The large serving bowl is unmarked, however the “Hand Painted - Nippon / Japan” original sticker tag remains on all six of the smaller bowls; the manufacturing marking was used beginning in 1911 making this set approximately 100 years of age! Such a lovely set for dessert, nuts, berries, fruit, etc! Would make a wonderful addition for any occasion this spring/summer, especially a baby shower or bridal celebration! All seven dishes are in excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, crazing, etc. however there are very minor signs of use/yellowing and wear on the trims, as seen in photos Measurements: Large Bowl: 8 3/4” inches diameter x 2 1/8” inches height Small Bowls: 5 1/4” inches diameter x 1 1/8” inches height Vintage china/items often have small manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use; these do not affect the integrity of the item but is something to be mindful of when purchasing.
