Antique 900 Silver Filigree Earrings With Red Ruby Gemstones

Rare and collectible antique / vintage filigree earrings. Handmade. Stamped 900 (an old mark for 90% silver purity, which is very close to 925 sterling silver). Has a makers mark MA. With red stones in the center, cut as cabochons. They look like natural rubies of good color. They have some surface scratches, as pictured, but are still shiny and beautiful. Can be easily repolished by a jeweller. Not sure about the origin of the other four red stones on the edges. They are bright, but don't look like rubies 2 cm in diameter. Clip on style, suitable for pierced and non-pierced ears. The clipping parts on the back are made of yellow tone metal, possibly solid brass.
